Hey there, Poultry Nerds! I’m Carey Blackmon, owner of Double R Farms and ShowPro Farm Supply, right here in Alabama. My wife, Tamara, and I both workin education, me for the local school district and she now works with the state department — and over the years, we’ve had the honor of helping raise more than 35 foster kids into adulthood. On our farm, we raise Gamefowl, American Bresse, Rhode Island Reds, Kune Kune Pigs, Nigerian Dwarf Goats, and Quail. At our warehouse, We mix, bag, and ship ShowPro feeds and supplements for poultry and all kinds of livestock. I also worked in cybersecurity, and now I teach programming, networking, and cybersecurity in the school system — so I guess you could say I’m a well-rounded nerd! Teaching and helping others is in my DNA. That’s why I started the podcast, live show, and the ShowPro brand — to share what I’ve learned and help others!
